DENNIS WILSON II
THE PRINCIPAL
"I'm not sure when I got serious about games but I think it was either the day Dad brought home a new TV game they called 'Pong' or the night Dad let me play poker with the grown-ups and won $6 in change. Surely I was no older than 10 years old. Games were always fun but, before then, I had no idea how serious fun could be."
Dennis grew up loving all sorts of games: chess, D&D, card games, board games, video games, war games, even LARPs such as Murder Mystery Parties. He learned how to be an entertainment casino dealer with his parents, Dennis and Dixie, in 1986 when he was 16 years old and a junior at Beech Grove High School. At Wabash College, he served as his fraternity's social chairman, organizing special events and parties for his brothers in TKE. He graduated in 1991 with a Philosophy and Pre-medicine degree. Instead of pursuing a career in medicine, he headed west to find a new life and job in California but ended up in Las Vegas instead. In 1993 he went to school at UNLV to learn casino management and attended a dealer school to learn to deal craps. After dealing craps and other games in Las Vegas casinos, he moved into casino management with Boyd Gaming in 1995 and moved to Kansas City as a table games floor supervisor and games dealer trainer. After getting married and starting a family in 1997, he moved back to Beech Grove in 1998 and started Elite Casino Productions in 1999. Today he still lives and plays in Beech Grove with his wife Brenda and his three children Hunter, Ethan, and Zoe. He supports his community, plays games, consumes media and art, studies law, and still loves making sure others have a good time.
